We’re hiring Principal Power Platform Consultants to lead hands‑on design and build of complex, multi‑workstream solutions. You’ll be the technical spearhead on programmes – owning architecture within a domain, leading engineers day‑to‑day, and landing high‑quality releases. This is a full‑time, permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll do

- End‑to‑end Solution Delivery: Design and build on Power Platform and Dynamics 365 CE (Model‑Driven Apps + Dataverse), making pragmatic build‑vs‑buy choices and reusing standard/D365 tables where fit and licensing allow.

- Technical Ownership: Set non‑functional standards and design solutions to complex functional requirements; ensure performance and accessibility standards are met; lead design reviews; work on complex issues; unblock teams rapidly.

- Integration & Extensibility: Implement patterns with Microsoft 365 and Azure (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus). Build/consume APIs; guide resilient Flow patterns.

- Power Pages: Design and Develop Liquid/JavaScript and component customisation as needed. Align web roles to app security and document repeatable deploy steps.

- Governance & ALM: Implement environment strategy, DLP, solution layering; run CI/CD (ADO or GitHub Actions) with versioning and smoke‑test packs.

- Data, Reporting & Copilot: Surface operational insights (in‑app dashboards/Power BI); pilot safe, value‑led Copilot/AI use cases.

- Mentoring & Craft: Coach seniors/consultants/developers; uplift code quality, documentation, and accelerator usage.

- Practice Assets: Contribute to accelerators (data packs, templates, deployment scripts) and internal standards.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Experience: ~10+ years delivering Power Platform/D365, owning major workstreams and multiple production launches.

- Dataverse Mastery: Schema, relationships, forms/views, modern controls/command bar, business rules; bias to reuse standard tables to minimise licensing footprint.

- Automation: Robust Flow design (error handling, retries, concurrency, long‑running patterns).

- Integration: Azure integration (HTTP, queues, webhooks), OAuth/app registrations, maintainable API design.

- Governance & ALM: Environment strategy, DLP, solution layering, source control, managed releases.

- Consulting Core: Workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, crisp documentation (designs, runbooks, smoke tests).

- Communication: Clear written/spoken English; able to explain trade‑offs and drive decisions.

- Nice to have: Power Pages at scale; Power BI; Copilot/AI adoption; public sector/regulated experience.

What success looks like

- 90 days: You’ve taken technical ownership of a complex delivery, stabilised delivery, and completely gained the customer’s and team’s trust.

- 6 months: Your patterns/accelerator contribution in a single project is reused by other teams; measurable performance/quality improvements.

- 12 months: Multiple on‑time, on‑budget releases with high CSAT; you’re the go‑to for complex issues.
