We are currently looking for a General Foreperson to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
Manage health and safety on the project.
Understand target delivery programme, report weekly, and intervene to prevent delays.
Attend and assist at daily whiteboard meetings.
Inspect works on site, resolve issues promptly, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
Complete daily allocation sheets for labour and materials.
Manage civil engineering and groundworks contractors.
Set up and maintain logistics walkways, including vehicle and pedestrian routes.
Oversee works from foundations to finishes, including external works.
Coordinate labour, machinery, and materials movement using logistics software.
Ensure site safety and security through effective practices.
Coordinate subcontractors and service providers for timely handover.
Liaise with engineering team for waste management records.
Promote excellent customer service and uphold the Cairn brand.
The Candidate:
Trade background preferred.
Able to meet demanding time and quality targets.
Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
Methodical, detail-oriented, and accurate.
Ability to work well with people at all levels and in a team.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Willing to accept responsibility for tasks.
