Quantity Surveyor We are currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a leading engineering services company. This role is based in Kildare and involves tendering major projects across Ireland, to work on a range of Data Centre, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare projects. Responsibilities: Review construction contracts and manage procurement of subcontractors and materials. This Quantity Surveyor will control project costs and budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Prepare valuations, cost reports and financial updates throughout project lifecycles. Support improvements in commercial processes and overall project profitability. Manage subcontractor payments and ensure final accounts are agreed. Handle project correspondence and resolve contractual issues. Maintain strong client relationships and provide commercial support to project teams. Assist with tendering and cost estimation for new projects. Requirements: A third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics is advantageous but not essential. Minimum of 1 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the building or construction sector. Strong understanding of core quantity surveying principles and project cost control. High attention to detail with solid operational and commercial awareness. Good presentation and general management skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and team members. Excellent written communication and negotiation skills to achieve favourable commercial outcomes. Proven ability to multitask and manage the commercial aspects of multiple projects concurrently.
