Position Overview:

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of HVAC installation projects across commercial and industrial sectors. This role combines mechanical engineering expertise with project coordination responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication, technical insight, and a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Project management of HVAC installations from design review to final handover
Coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
Oversight of system installation, testing, and commissioning
Review and interpretation of system drawings and technical documentation
Problem-solving on-site installation or design-related issues
Management of project documentation, scheduling, and reporting
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards
Mentoring and support of junior engineers or site teams
Supervise teams; conducting scrums and whiteboard meetings

Essential Criteria:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
Proven experience in managing or coordinating small teams
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Full driving licence and entitlement to work in Ireland and/or the EU

Desirable Attributes:

Experience managing multi-disciplinary site teams
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Prince2)
Previous knowledge of HVAC systems
Safe Pass, Manual Handling, MEWP certifications
