Client Global Lead for Securities Finance Operations, Senior Vice President

Overview

The successful individual will be part of Securities Finance Operations senior leadership team and will interact closely with multiple stakeholders across Operations, Technology and Product/Business Partners on all components of client implementations and management of globally consistent process and practices.

The Securities Financing Client Global Lead is a senior management level position responsible for new Client Implementations, new deal consolidation, analysing client queries directly and client scorecard reviews to increase STP (eliminating manual, bespoke and offboarding clients to liberate resource) to Securities Finance to ensure thematic resolution of issues and optimization of resources. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless support of our clients.

As we continue to grow the team, the role holder will lead and direct a team of client focus professionals, including direct day-to-day managerial responsibility for Global-based staff and oversight delivery.

Responsibilities

- Day to day leadership, management & support of Securities Financing Operations Client Implementation ensuring managerial structure is fulfilled timely and in highest quality and all aspects of employee’s lifecycle are performed in appropriate standard

- Support of onboarding new clients through the implementation process

- Coordination, execution and reporting of global Client Delivery / Global Deal Committee programs of work

- Continual review of Client processes (manual / bespoke / non STP) with stakeholders to identify and execute tactical and strategic service and efficiency improvements, to streamline trade flow processes

- Pro-active risk management and cooperation with necessary stakeholders in order to minimize operational & project risk and adherence to all Citi policies, regulatory and compliance requirements

- Ensure integrity of processes, operations and end results, implementing and managing a successful risk/control environment

- Advise and coach new or junior level staff on procedures and work processes across multiple departments

- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

Qualifications

- Senior and relevant experience, including significant years of experience in a managerial role within Investor Services and/or a similar position with a strong client focus

- Robust commercial awareness

- Subject Matter Expert in multiple or specific skill sets, business areas or products

- Significant industry knowledge and experience

- Stakeholders management skills, ability to build long-term relationships, including exposure to clients

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of leading senior client and senior internal stakeholder meetings (e.g., Steering Committees)
