Overview Investment Trade Operations Representative III – Dublin, Ireland
Join Fidelity Investments as an Investment Trade Operations Representative III. This role focuses on ensuring accurate capture and processing of trade instructions into the primary accounting system and transmitting data to custodian banks, with involvement in process improvements and project work as needed.
Responsibilities Ensure all trade instructions are captured and processed correctly in Invest One and transmitted to custodian banks.
Participate in implementing fundamental process changes within the area and contribute to project subgroups as needed.
Develop a detailed understanding of Fidelity’s structure, information flow, and internal systems related to accounting, trading, and settling equity, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign currency transactions.
Identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues or operational risks; communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy to support NAV calculation and financial reporting.
Qualifications 1 – 3 years’ experience in the financial operations industry, preferably in Trade Processing or Fund Accounting.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience in a fund accounting area with use of Invest One is an advantage.
Experience in processing trades across multiple asset classes; knowledge of cash and position reconciliation.
Strong data analytical skills and ability to work toward process innovation and transformation.
Excellent MS Excel skills; ability to meet tight deadlines and manage priority conflicts.
Must be able to recognize high-risk items and escalate or seek assistance to minimize loss; clear and prompt communication of issues.
Knowledge of Invest One, Xceptor and Agile is a distinct advantage, but not essential.
Value and Impact Contribute to accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of data used to calculate NAV.
Process trades across asset classes in Invest One and ensure correct reflection for each product type.
Support the team in achieving required accuracy and timeliness; assist with significant process and procedural developments.
