As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Workplace Solutions team, you will design, develop, and maintain backend services that power our enterprise platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, applying best practices in software development and promoting technical excellence. Job responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend services using .NET technologies Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C# Design and optimize database solutions with MS SQL Server Build RESTful APIs and microservices Apply software design patterns and best practices Integrate and deploy solutions on cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS Use version control systems for source code management Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team Break down business requirements from Epics into User Stories Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 6 years of experience in commercial software development Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming Experience with .NET and/or .NET Framework Solid understanding of SQL, query optimization, and stored procedures Familiarity with design patterns and software development best practices Experience with version control tooling and branching strategies Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) Familiarity with Bitbucket, Jira, Swagger, Bruno, or Postman Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, containerization, and deployment tools Experience in Agile development environments About Us J.P.
