Analytical Chemist

With the onset of new projects /new product introductions, I am delighted to report that a vacancy has opened up for a Analytical Development Chemist to join the team of this well- established pharma company in Cork. This company is a much sought after employer a company that is like a big family with a great work culture for all its employee’s and home to state of the art facilities.

Working within the method development and validation team, your role will include analytical method development and optimisation, transfer and validation, according to regulatory guidelines and troubleshooting analytical issues obtained during method development. You will also develop, evaluate & verify analytical methods across a range of techniques . You will also manage analytical/technical projects as well as ensuring all associated data is processed and findings are reported on, therefore cross team communication will be paramount to this position.

You will need a BSc. in an Analytical, Chemical or related scientific field with5 years minimum experience of working in a GMP facility. You will also need strong industry experience in Method Validation and experience of the analysis of APIs, raw materials and excipients and analytical techniques icluding (HPLC, GC, IC), spectroscopic (IR, LC-MS, ICP-OES, Atomic Absorption).
