Our Partner in Tipperary area develops and supplies the active ingredients and final formulated product for a range of innovative medicines at its manufacturing and R&D facilities. The plant, which has been operating in Tipperary for over 40 years, exports to over 25 countries around the world with primary markets being Europe, USA and Japan.

Key responsibilities as a Project Engineer:

1. Develop and execute project plans to meet established schedule, cost, and performance standards.
2. Manage design, commissioning, qualification, schedule, and cost in collaboration with project team members, operations personnel, contractors, and suppliers.
3. Track and report project progress against deliverables as required.
4. Work collaboratively to promote a safe and compliant culture on site.
5. Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects and assigned duties.
6. Manage multiple capital project executions in parallel, ensuring high-quality results meeting company standards.
7. Oversee site construction activities, particularly during busy periods and annual leave periods.

Experience required as a Project Engineer:

1. Engineering qualification, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Project Management disciplines.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical industry, with expertise in maintenance, engineering, and project management.
3. Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
4. Experience with SAP is preferred, but not essential.
5. Understanding of the project life cycle from concept to qualification, with proven experience in this area.
