Overview Finance Manager – Transformation role at Flutter Entertainment. Location: London/Dublin. Hybrid - 2 days per week (Dublin only). 2 year FTC.
About the role Flutter’s Global Financial Reporting Strategy team is looking for a Finance Manager – Transformation to join our team and support our Global Finance transformation programme. You will work on special projects supporting process improvement initiatives and automation, collaborating with Flutter’s Internal Controls team to document changes and maintain robust internal controls over processes.
You will work closely with finance colleagues across Group functions and Divisions as well as IT, Tax, Internal Controls and others.
What you’ll do Drive and deliver Global Finance Transformation projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and accurate completion.
Support delivery of a new consolidation and external reporting system within Oracle Fusion and related FCCS in EPM.
Assist quarterly and annual external reporting as we transition from legacy to new financial reporting environment across 2 years and 4 deployment waves.
Create and manage project plans with schedules, milestones and deliverables.
Ensure proper documentation and audit trail over deliverables.
Collaborate with Group finance, Tax, Legal, IT, Internal Controls and Divisions to deliver project plans.
How you’ll do it Accounting designation with 3+ years post-qualification experience, preferably in a big 4/large public company environment.
Experience in consolidations, accounting, and financial reporting; SOX internal controls exposure.
Process-improvement mindset with a track record of designing and implementing controls.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
Proactive, well-organized, detail-focused, and a strong problem solver.
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.
Experience with Oracle ERP and FCCS or similar systems is an advantage; strong MS Excel skills.
SOX experience is a plus; US GAAP knowledge is beneficial but not required.
