About the Role: EPS require a General Arrangement Draftsperson / BIM Technician to work full time with our Drawing team in our head office in Mallow, Co. Cork. You will be central to the development, coordination, and management of intelligent 3D models and General Arrangement (GA) drawings within a multidisciplinary design environment. This role places a strong focus on model-based delivery and the effective use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) to support project teams. You will work closely with engineers and other design professionals to ensure that models are accurate, well-coordinated, and aligned with project requirements, while also supporting data-rich deliverables and collaborative workflows across the project team. Key Responsibilities: Manage the production of multi-discipline coordinated models, drawings and schedules Align design development with the project BIM execution planwhich would include regular coordination and model checks and sharing of model data throughout the design team Liaising between Mechanical & Electrical Designers and Civil & Structural Designers Attend and contribute to model coordination meetings, maintaining model integrity and ensuring design intent is reflected accurately Liaising with project teams to ascertain project needs and timelines for same Taking instructions from Engineers and producing drawings with limited supervision or direction Use initiative and knowledge to support the CAD team and grow expertise in the use of CAD software and other tools Key Competencies and Skills: Excellent communication & organisational skills Looking to continuously improve their skillset Familiarity with key digital construction principles, innovation, and emerging BIM technologies Working to timelines in a project environment Ability to work off their own initiative but also as part of a project team Technical Proficiency Requirements: Revit model and Family Creation Navisworks Manage BIM360 / ACC Docs environments BIM coordination workflows, clash detection, and model sharing protocols Qualifications: 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or strong trades background coupled with a BIM qualification A minimum of 3+yearsexperience within a BIM Co-ordination function Mechanical or Electrical background and have a proven track record in a similar role Compensation Package: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career growth CPD accredited employer A collaborative and supportive work environment Laptop or desktop and work mobile phone provided Flexible working options, dependent on location and role requirements See company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS Group Wewelcomespeculativeapplicationsfromindividualsofalllevels.
