We have exciting opportunities for HV Commissioning Engineers to work with long standing clients on fantastic projects across Dublin, Co. Wexford and the midlands. They offer a range of Engineering Design & Consultancy Services including Power System Studies to clients both in Ireland and the UK. They provide a comprehensive range of HV/MV Installation, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance services. Apply to hear more details Job Description: To work with the project team and to develop as an Engineer in carrying out installation, assembly, maintenance and commissioning of HV equipment including HV switchgear, transformers, protection relays G10 and EGIP panels etc. All the necessary training and supervision will be provided. This will involve both site and office work. To gain a good working and operational knowledge of HV networks and equipment and to become an SAP (Senior Authorised Person) with responsibilities for carrying out HV switching and isolations on live HV networks. All the necessary training will be provided. Develop and update CAD drawings. Finalising maintenance and commissioning reports and submitting to clients including following up and meeting with clients to discuss and complete any issues and recommendations. Requirements: Fully qualified LV electrician with 3 years experience and or Level 7 or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering Proficient in MS Office, CAD Full clean driving licence Be driven and goal oriented Have good people skills and be clear and concise in all dealings with co-workers and clients Needs to be able to work on their own initiative and also as part of a team HV experience with a good general knowledge and appreciation of electrical power systems and drawing Skills: HV Commissioning
