Responsibilities
  • To work with our HV commissioning team and to develop as an Engineer in carrying out installation, assembly, maintenance and commissioning of HV equipment including HV switchgear, transformers, protection relays G10 and EGIP panels etc. All the necessary training and supervision will be provided. This will involve both site and office work.
  • To gain a good working and operational knowledge of HV networks and equipment and to become an SAP (Senior Authorised Person) with responsibilities for carrying out HV switching and isolations on live HV networks. All the necessary training will be provided.
  • Develop and update CAD drawings.
  • Finalizing maintenance and commissioning reports and submitting to clients including following up and meeting with clients to discuss and complete any issues and recommendations.
Skills Required
  • Fully qualified LV electrician with 3 years' industry experience and OR graduate engineer with Level 7 or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficient in MS Office, CAD
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Be driven and goal oriented
  • Have good people skills and be clear and concise in all dealings with co-workers and clients
  • Needs to be able to work on their own initiative and also as part of a team
  • HV experience an advantage with a good general knowledge and appreciation of electrical power systems and drawings
  • This offer is open to graduates or candidates with 2-3 Years suitable experience
