Entegro is expanding from telecommunications into the power market. We design and deploy gigabit networks and now support LV, MV, and HV projects. We are currently seeking a HV Commissioning Manager to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and develop this role to fit the ambitious growth plans of the company within the power sector.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Engineering Director, responsible for developing and building a commissioning team to deliver projects in target areas.
  • Work with the Engineering Director to develop new business lines in target markets.
  • Carry out SAP (Senior Authorised Person) activities for HV switching and isolations on live HV networks.
  • Identify training requirements for team members and arrange training courses and modules; may include delivery of in-house training courses.
  • Lead and work with the commissioning team on site until team members are competent to work autonomously and AP trained.
  • Work with Health and Safety Officer and Management team to update HV Safety Rules in line with industry standards and statutory requirements.
  • Set work scope for team members and monitor and manage delivery of scope.
  • Manage project programme including milestones and deadlines; plan and manage vendor FAT/SAT with possible attendance if necessary.
  • Communicate with all electrical stakeholders and participate in daily/weekly project meetings with internal, vendor, and client teams.
  • Manage, deliver, and obtain approval on project documents such as Test Protocols and Compliance statements; ensure delivery and sign-off of project documentation.
  • Some after-hours work will be a feature of this role; all out-of-hours work will be paid as overtime.
