Senior Electrical Design Manager Role

This role involves leading engineering design activities on high-voltage substation projects. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of these projects, from initial stages to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure technical compliance
  • Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
  • Participate in procurement processes by preparing technical scopes of work and evaluating vendor proposals
  • Conduct site inspections and commissioning support
  • Provide technical guidance during installation, testing, and commissioning phases
  • Identify and mitigate risks and resolve technical issues proactively
  • Lead a team of project engineers through the project life cycle

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering design/project management on industrial installation projects
  • Excellent technical knowledge of HV and MV network requirements in industrial settings
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and integration of automated control systems to electrical networks
  • A proven track record of delivering projects on time and to budget
  • Strong IT skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead, influence, and mentor others
