Due to continuous expansion, we are looking for a colleague to reinforce our IT office based in Wilrijk (Antwerp).
Your role Within this key position, testing is an essential part of the (software) development process. In close collaboration with your IT colleagues, you organize and control the entire testing process. You assess software quality through testing (manual / automated) and validate the development team's solution against business requirements. During the testing process, you ensure visibility and traceability.
Examples of the activities are: Setting up and maintaining the test strategy and tests;
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze the results;
Reporting bugs and doing risk assessments based on the findings;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Your profile You have a solid first experience in software testing; with knowledge on functional testing, non-functional testing, experience on test automation is a plus. You have an eye for detail, you can work autonomously, you are rigorous, and proactive; You are organized, and have a sharp analytical mind. Your excellent people skills come in handy when you need to communicate within your team. A first experience in Agile methodology is a plus. Ideally, you are ISTQB certified.
