FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Swine Technical Sales Specialist on behalf of a leading animal health company. This is a full-time time permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with technical knowledge of the swine industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pig producers and veterinarians, developing key brands, and promoting product awareness through a consultative, solution-focused sales approach. This role will involve both regional throughout Ireland and into Northern Ireland. Duties to include Visiting vets and pig producers to identify their needs and provide tailored technical solutions. Developing new markets and supporting the introduction of innovative animal health products. Providing product and technical training to customers. Liaising with key opinion leaders within the swine industry. Working closely with producers to improve herd health and deliver measurable economic benefits. Delivering exceptional customer service and post-sales support. Participating in product trials and data analysis to validate new product concepts. Achieving and exceeding agreed sales targets. Completing sales forecasts, CRM entries, and administrative reports accurately and on time. Candidate profile A strong knowledge of the pig industry. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Strong IT proficiency A relevant third-level qualification in Agricultural Science, and/or demonstrated experience in the management and care of pigs in a commercial farming environment A full, clean driving license and willingness to travel nationwide. Previous sales experience within the agricultural or veterinary sector (advantageous but not essential). Remuneration Competitive salary. Performance-based bonus structure. Company vehicle.
