Overview Service Engineer role at Tetra Pak in Ireland. The position is home-based with extensive travel within the Island of Ireland and occasional overseas travel.
What You Will Do Provide installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance services on Tetra Pak processing equipment and drive continuous improvement at the customer's plant.
Execute hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximise system performance.
Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on-site and remotely.
Maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers and follow up on concerns and problems.
Supervise production and train customer personnel on processing equipment.
Be health and safety aware and work within safe systems of work.
We Believe You Have Technical educational background and at least 3 years of relevant Tetra Pak technical experience.
Work experience performing mechanical maintenance tasks on processing or liquid food equipment.
Knowledge of separators, homogenisers, valves and pumps.
Experience in the food industry and/or cheese production is beneficial.
Physical fitness to perform required tasks (bending, kneeling, lying, carrying).
Good command of English (written and oral) and developed MS Office skills.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively, including on-call work at nights and on weekends.
Customer- and service-oriented mindset; self-starter with the drive to act in the best interests of Tetra Pak and customers; strong teamwork and commitment; good problem-solving, structured and priority-driven approach.
Able to work in a role that may include on-call duties and travel as required.
