Job Title: Technical Sales Rep Salary: €35k + Bonus Location: Cavan/ Monaghan Region Ref: S011676 Benefits: Company Vehicle Mobile Phone Slate/Laptop Daily Lunch Allowance Company pension contribution Description of Role: Our client is now seeking an experienced Sales rep to join their team.Reporting to the Ruminant Sales Manager, the primary objective of this role is to promote and sell ruminant feed products, and to provide technical support to farmers in the Cavan / Monaghan region. The ideal candidate will have an agricultural qualification, a strong understanding of farming practices, and animal nutritional needs. Previous experience in sales is essential. Requirements: Agricultural Qualification Advanced / Higher Certificate Commercially aware with relevant sales / customer service experience. Possess a full clean drivers licence and willing to travel. Agricultural background with good knowledge of the wider Agri-industry. Good knowledge and experience of ruminant production and nutrition. Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills. Have good IT skills. Highly motivated and capable of working on own initiative and prioritising tasks. Committed to achieving both individual and team goals. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Increasing ruminant feed-sales to new and existing customers in line with sales targets and company strategy. Understanding farmers needs and advising on suitable products and services, to both new and existing clients. Providing customers with technical advice and support on ruminant nutrition, diet formulation and feeding practice, to maximise productivity. Communicating effectively with existing customers, to ensure continued customer satisfaction and to ensure that we are continuing to meet their needs. Liaising with the sales and technical team to assist in product development. Ensuring routine and timely credit control activities. Representing the company at industry events in your area and networking within the farming community. Reporting to your manager on business performance, activities, prospects and challenges.
