Responsibilities: Attend on-site visits, client meetings and design team meetings. Assist in preparing Disability Access Certificate (DAC) applications for a range of developments. Prepare and submit Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) applications in line with current regulations. Conduct fire risk assessments and fire safety audits on-site. Carry out fire safety inspections across various building types. Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure fire safety compliance. Prepare clear, detailed technical reports for clients, design teams and regulatory authorities. Assist in the development of fire safety strategies for new and existing buildings. Stay up to date with changes in building regulations, fire codes and best practices. Requirements: This Fire Engineer will need 2 - 3 years of relevant fire engineering experience. A strong interest in developing a long-term career in fire safety engineering. Familiarity with Irish building and fire safety regulations. Practical experience with FSC and DAC applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including technical report writing. A basic understanding of legal and compliance aspects of fire safety is an advantage.
