Looking to be a key part of a fast-paced, supportive small animal general practice? Rathcoole Vets have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon based in Dublin. You will be joining a dedicated team with a varied caseload in a well-established practice. This is a sole charge role giving you the unique opportunity to use the skills and experience you have gained to develop the practiceand lead a small, close-knit team.

This is an ideal position for an experienced and self-motivated Vet who enjoys a fast-paced, rewarding position with a small, professional team and a focus on building client relationships, work-life balance, and further development. There is a no OOH and a structured rota to protect your valuable time off, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. We offer full funding for certificates, diploma’s, and PhD’s you may want to pursue, a generous annual CPD allowance, as well as an annual contribution of €1,100 to go towards a patient case of your choice to ensure a successful outcome.

Our 100% Small animal practice in Rathcoole is a busy, first opinion practice located in South Dublin.
At Rathcoole Vets you can expect individualised, state-of-the-art medical care for our patients. We keep our practice up to date with all the latest equipment necessary to offer our high standards of service including digital radiography, ultrasound and a fully equipped laboratory with comprehensive blood and urine analysis. Our sister branches are in Carlow, Athy and Portlaois. We are mostly first opinion practices with our main referral centre in Athy. We offer a range of referral services including Orthopaedics, Ultrasound (both cardiac and abdominal), and Soft Tissue Surgery. Our practice in Rathcoole works very closely with several local and national charities.
Our friendly Rathcoole team is made of 1 Veterinary Surgeon and 2 Veterinary Nurses.
