Take full ownership of maintaining the property's presentation and hygiene standards, consistently meeting the company's high-quality benchmarks. Assume responsibility for managing customer interactions and assisting with the daily operations and administration of the Housekeeping department. Thoroughly inspect all goods received by the Housekeeping department, meticulously checking for quality and quantity. Ensure that delivery receipts are signed and forwarded to the Accounts Department. Maintain accountability for all Housekeeping equipment, guaranteeing its optimal functionality. Keep sufficient inventory levels to ensure seamless operations, and make timely purchases when required. Provide training, guidance, and supervision to the Housekeeping team, actively participating in day-to-day department activities. Regularly evaluate individual and team performance against set objectives. Offer constructive feedback through on-the-job training, performance appraisals, one-on-one discussions, and team meetings. If necessary, implement corrective measures. Enhance the team's skills and knowledge by creating and executing department-specific training plans that align with our business objectives. Cultivate collaborative relationships with other departments, fostering effective communication and teamwork across the organization. Promote a unified 'One Team Spirit.' Demonstrate flexibility by taking on project work and responding to ad hoc requests from the General Manager and Head Office. Generate revenue and cost forecasts and ensure they remain within budgetary limits. Promptly communicate any discrepancies to the General Manager. Required Skills and Experience Proven track record in hotel or hospitality, with prior experience in housekeeping. Exceptional eye for detail, ensuring our apartments meet our high standards. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Dedication to providing exceptional customer care and the ability to expertly handle any guest concerns or complaints Excellent communication skills, highly focused, motivated, and professional in appearance and presentation to represent the Staycity Group Brand. A self-motivator with attention to detail and a passion for customer service. Demonstrate how you have the ability to motivate, appraise, support and challenge the team to deliver world-class results on every aspect of the business on a daily basis continuously.  No formal qualifications are essential, but you must be able to demonstrate commitment, leadership and continuous learning.
