Skillset Requirement A candidate with skill set to handle complex, cloud-native applications that leverage microservices architecture, real-time data processing, and robust DevOps practices. General Skill Set: Backend development, cloud infrastructure, containerization, messaging systems, and DevOps practices.? 1. Spring Boot Proficiency in Java, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience in building RESTful APIs, Graph QL and microservices using Spring Boot. Familiarity with Spring modules such as Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Actuator. Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle for project management. Ability to write unit and integration tests using frameworks like JUnit and Mockito. 2. Kubernetes Concepts Understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including Pods, Services, Deployments, and ConfigMaps. Experience in deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes clusters. Familiarity with Helm charts for application packaging and deployment. Knowledge of Kubernetes networking, storage (PVCs), and security concepts. 3. Kafka Understanding of Kafka architecture, including topics, partitions, producers, and consumers. Experience in integrating Kafka with Spring Boot applications using Spring Kafka. Knowledge of Kafka Streams for real-time data processing. Ability to monitor and troubleshoot Kafka-related issues. 4. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Concepts Familiarity with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage. Understanding of Kubernetes storage concepts, including Persistent Volumes (PV) and Persistent Volume Claims (PVC). Experience in deploying applications to GCP and managing resources. Understanding of GCP networking, IAM, and security best practices. 5. Redis Knowledge of Redis data structures and caching strategies. Experience in integrating Redis with Spring Boot applications. Understanding of Redis persistence and replication mechanisms. 6. NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) Experience in designing schemas and performing CRUD operations in MongoDB or Cassandra. Understanding of NoSQL database principles and when to use them over relational databases. Familiarity with Spring Data MongoDB or appropriate drivers for Cassandra. 8. Argo CD Knowledge of GitOps principles and continuous deployment practices. Experience in setting up and managing Argo CD for Kubernetes application deployments. Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues and manage application rollbacks. 9. Harness Familiarity with Harness for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 10. GitHub Proficiency in version control using Git and managing repositories on GitHub. Experience in setting up GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows. Ability to manage pull requests, code reviews, and branching strategies.
