Your role and responsibilities

As a Fraud Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in detecting and preventing fraudulent activity for IBM Trusteer's customers. You will be responsible for analyzing large volumes of data, identifying patterns and anomalies, and providing actionable insights and logics to mitigate and prevent fraud risks from all kinds. Your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and fraud detection techniques will be instrumental in protecting our customers.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
2. At least two years of previous work experience in a technology company.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends, outliers, and anomalies.
4. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar tools.
5. A team player - great communication skills, with a sense of ownership and of urgency.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Knowledge of fraud schemes, tactics, and fraud prevention strategies across various industries.
