Client Profile
Our client is a really interesting Media business with their Irish operation based in the City Centre. To facilitate growth they are restructuring their Finance team and have a new requirement for a Qualified Accountant to join the team. The role is varied and will support the Head of Finance in all aspects of running a busy finance team. Once onboarded into the business, the role can be either office based or 50% remote working is offered.
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing a wide range of financial information. Specific areas of responsibility include:
Month-end reporting
Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
Analysis and provision of key information to management
Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reporting
Balance sheet review
Day-to-day involvement with the running of the Finance team
Year-end audit and preparation of financial statements
Tax compliance and returns
Issue sales invoices and maintain debtors ledger
Delivering improvements on both existing and new processes and systems
Candidate Profile:
Qualified Accountant with relevant experience
Experience of using a finance system
Excellent analytical skills
Results orientated
Excellent technical abilities
Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role
Excellent communication, customer care, and people management skills
Excellent planning, organisational, and leadership skills
