Accounts Assistant (Part-time) - Limerick Our client, a leading company in the property & real estate sector is now seeking an Accounts Assistant on a part-time basis to join their finance team based in their Limerick city HQ office. You will get excellent experience working as part of a well-established finance team with an industry leading company nationwide. Location: Limerick city 3 days onsite. Duration: Initial 6 month contract (3 days per week) Expected Hours: 21 per week approx. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include: Accounts Payable: Coding & posting purchase invoices, recording of supplier payments and reconciliation of supplier accounts. Accounts Receivable: Preparation of sales invoices. Managing electronic receipts and following up on outstanding balances. Bank Reconciliation of bank accounts. Monitoring daily communication and answering any queries. Other ad hoc duties as required. Key Criteria: Previous experience in an Accounts, Bookkeeper or similar role. ATI Diploma or equivalent is desirable, but not essential. Familiar with Sage IT system (desirable). Strong IT skills and good proficiency across the MS Office suite including Excel. Organised and diligent. Excellent communication skills and be a good team player. Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail. Offer: This is a Part-time position (3 days per week) on an initial 6-month contract with the potential for longer term opportunities depending on business needs. The role will be located onsite at our clients offices in Limerick city. The salary on offer will depend on the candidates skills & experience but is expected to be approx. €45k pro rata.
