Building a sustainable tomorrow We are recruiting a Planner to join our Building Pre-Construction department in Kill, Co. Kildare. The preconstruction planner will develop detailed programmes for tenders. The role will involve close collaboration with design, commercial and delivery teams to ensure that the project plan are realistic and achievable with and align with company objectives. Your mission Generate programmes for tender submissions using MS Project & Primavera Software or Asta Powerproject Breakdown project scope into logical work sequences identifying key milestones and critical path Liaise with design teams consultants and internal stakeholders to develop coordinated programmes Identify and communicate potential risks constraints and opportunities Conduct critical path analysis and scenario modelling to support decision making Ensure planning outputs comply with company standards client require requirements and industry best practices Maintain accurate programme records in line with QA procedures Develop programme narratives To engage with subcontractors to develop programmes To work as part of a team, including through the flexible allocation of work as it arises. Assist in developing 4D planning for tenders Assist with BAM UK&I on roll put of good planning practices. Who are we looking for? Relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. Proven experience in a planning role in the building construction industry (main contractor experience preferred) Strong understanding of construction methodologies sequencing and lead times Experience in developing tender programmes Ability to produce clear and concise planning narratives and reports Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and manage programme risks Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite brackets excel word PowerPoint] Be technically oriented and fully conversant in drawings, specs., BOQs, critical path programming, network analysis, etc Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years previous experience. Eligibility to work in Ireland and fluent English.
