General Foreman

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for: Job Title Site Foreman Project New Build Residential Job Location South Cork Salary €60K - €75K + package *Salary Negotiable depending on Experience* About the Company Industry leading Developer Contractor from Dublin, specialising in new build residential developments across the country. My client is keen to chat to experienced Foremen who have a background in residential new builds about a new project coming to South County Cork in Q2. Preference for someone who has experience running jobs from greenfield stages right through to handover. Ideally trades background who is confident managing large teams of subbies Good site set up with support from project manager and contracts manager. The Role Coordination and supervision of the finishing of a Commercial Development. Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team. Report into and support the Site manager, Project Manager and Contracts Manager. Oversee manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors and consult with local authorities when needed. Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure that site requirements are met without exceeding budget. Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high. Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site. Host tool box talks and meetings with direct staff to outline the works required. Requirements A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background. Ideally Carpentry of Joinery Background. A minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar role on new build projects.
