Job Title: Head of Human Resources Grade VIII

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled leader to fill the position of Head of Human Resources Grade VIII at National Orthopaedic Hospital Cappagh.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective human resources strategies to support the hospital's goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, and maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and external stakeholders on HR-related matters.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) membership.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience at senior level in HR, with significant leadership and management experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Attributes
  • Post-graduate qualification in Employment Law.
  • Experience working in the healthcare sector, preferably in a hospital setting.
