**Grade V Relationship Manager Job Description**

The role of a Grade V Relationship Manager involves providing comprehensive and pragmatic HR advice and support to managers and employees. The aim is to ensure effective administration and recording of all leave types and schemes, while supporting the delivery of the HR Strategic Plan.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide a dedicated HR advisory service to an identified service area, covering employment legislation, circulars, contractual matters, performance management, staff-related concerns, and absence and health-related issues.
  • Support the Head of Relationship Managers in providing day-to-day Human Resources services to line managers, keeping them updated on any arising issues.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with service areas, colleagues, and staff, establishing professional credibility.

**Leadership and Collaboration:**

  • Oversight and authorisation of timely preparation and issue of appropriate contractual documentation, including secondment appointments, terminations, recommendations, and variations of employment.
  • Leads on the management of casework related to sickness absence, making recommendations, giving advice and support to managers, liaising with Occupational Health, case review meetings, and referrals where necessary.

**Data Management and Analysis:**

  • Responsible for ensuring the up-to-date, accurate recording and scanning of employee data and HR documentation on computerised HR information systems.
  • Dissemination of information in compliance with GDPR obligations.

**Training and Development:**

  • Keeps up-to-date with developments in employment legislation and human resources best practice.
  • Participates and initiates knowledge sharing within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement in the service offered.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Mandatory: Professional qualifications, experience, or equivalent examination at a comparable standard.
  • Age: Under 65 years old (for non-new entrants).
  • Health: Fully competent and capable of undertaking duties attached to the office.
  • Character: Of good character.

**Desirable:** Knowledge of Employment legislation, HR Practice, policies, procedures, and circulars, relevant experience in the Health Sector, previous Human Resources experience, Microsoft Office skills.
