Join my client's dynamic team, a leading firm in the construction industry committed to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. The Construction/Contracts Manager plays a vital role in orchestrating complex projects, ensuring effective communication across all disciplines while fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Main responsibilities include: Facilitate effective communication between clients, architects, engineers, and EHS practices involved in their client's contracts. Develop and oversee detailed work programs, including the coordination of subcontractors and resources, to ensure project completion within budget and schedule. Maintain financial control over construction work, aiming for maximum cost-effectiveness while preparing weekly performance reports. Lead project risk management by developing registers and recovery strategies, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. Represent the company in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, while promoting a safety-first culture among site operatives and management. The ideal candidate will have the following: Minimum of 5 -10 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Construction, Civil, or Structural Engineering. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, organizational, teamwork, and presentation skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with a strong understanding of legal requirements in engineering. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint, along with strong report writing skills.
