Site Engineer Civils & Groundworks Projects (Dublin) A Site Engineer with 25+ years experience in civil engineering is required for civils and groundworks projects in Balbriggan and Lucan. The role involves supporting the management and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality construction, adherence to specifications, and effective site coordination. This position is ideal for a proactive engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, on-site environment and enjoys working closely with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Role Provide technical and engineering support on-site for civils and groundworks projects. Monitor and inspect civil and groundworks activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Supervise subcontractors and coordinate day-to-day site activities. Assist with quality control, testing, and reporting. Prepare daily and weekly site reports and progress updates. Liaise with project managers, supervisors, clients, and design teams to resolve technical issues. Support material take-offs, measurements, and site documentation. Contribute to planning and scheduling of works to ensure timely delivery. Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations, design standards, and project requirements. Requirements 25+ years experience as a Site Engineer in Ireland, ideally with civils or groundworks projects. Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and site supervision. Knowledge of drainage, utilities, concrete, earthworks, and other groundworks activities. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a project team. Experience with site management or engineering software is advantageous. Full clean driving licence. Right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
