Job Title: Senior Tax Advisor Group Tax Location: Dublin (Hybrid Working) Contract Type: Freelance contract About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled Group Tax function responsible for ensuring best practice in Tax Compliance & Risk Management, Business Partnering, Strategic Tax Planning, and Data-Driven Insights. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust Tax Compliance Framework that meets all relevant revenue rules in Ireland, the UK, and other jurisdictions, as well as aligning with applicable governance standards. Key Responsibilities Partner with and advise stakeholders across all business units on operational tax issues and transactions. Prepare corporation tax computations for UK and Irish entities, including: Group corporation tax issues such as loss relief UK and ROI interest restriction calculations UK capital allowances claims Transfer pricing adjustments Liaise with Irish and UK tax authorities as part of co-operative compliance frameworks. Manage tax master data and SAP4 change requests, including user acceptance testing for SAP upgrades. Review and sign off on ROI and UK Group VAT returns, addressing exceptions with relevant business areas. Assist with the implementation and monitoring of the Tax Governance Framework. Support BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) management activities. Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years relevant tax experience. Proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels. Strong knowledge of UK and Irish tax law, legislation, and regulations. Desirable: Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power Query, Alteryx). Working knowledge of SAP or other large ERP systems. Qualifications Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) from the Irish Tax Institute. Desirable: Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.). Data analytics qualifications or training (e.g., Power Query, Alteryx).
