Are you an experienced financial professional looking for a new challenge in the hospitality industry? Harbour Hotel, a member of the MHL Collection, is seeking a dynamic and detail-orientated Financial Controller to oversee our Financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and risk management. The Financial Controller will work closely with senior management to provide strategic financial insights and drive business growth. Oversee financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control. Work closely with the General Manager to achieve finance objectives and meet deadlines. Collaborate with other departments to drive cost efficiencies and maximize profitability. Prepare monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Coordinate weekly financial reports, including payroll stats and revenue forecasts. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and timely submission of audit books, VAT returns, payroll taxes, etc. Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team. Candidate Profile: 3-5 years of accounting experience, ideally in hospitality Experience leading a finance/accounting team. Proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel, and accounting software. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills. Fluent in English.
