As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Trading team as a Project Manager in the Protein and Meals Category working closely with the trading manager and team on a key fresh strategic initiatives.

The primary objective for this role is to support the Category Manager and trading managers in key projects being delivered in fresh, through the utilisation of robust project management practices.

Additionally, representing the category opposite retailers and cross‑functional stakeholders helping deliver successful outcomes for Musgrave, our Retail Partners, and for our customers.

The Role is suited to an ambitious individual with a desire to actively impact change and efficiency that will deliver benefits for all stakeholders. The candidate should be excited by an opportunity to support the development of new bespoke solutions and is comfortable in building relationships and stakeholder management.

What you'll be doing:

- Facilitate the definition of project scope, deliverables and milestone planning through a task‑based approach incorporating resource requirements and timelines.

Lead the planning and support the Trading Managers & key stakeholders in the implementation of projects and tracking progress of workstreams within the wider category.

Monitor and report on project progress, facilitating regular updates with project stakeholders while identifying risks, determining appropriate solutions and supporting initiating those solutions as relevant.

Support the growth and development of direct reports- Range Planning Manager, Project interns as relevant

What we'er looking for:

Highly organised, structured and performance driven

Personable, pro‑active, professional, and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional outcomes

Exemplary communication skills

Good judgement showing logical decision making, and with a proven ability to influence within the organization. Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a trading environment/ dedicated project management role essential

Highly numerical, with an ability to prioritise workload based on greater return on investment.

Knowledge of the Irish retail industry a distinct advantage

Structured and independent way of working, including strong issue identification and hypotheses generation skills to mitigate implementation risks

Ambition and passion to achieve value add and optimise efficiency.
