We are looking for an ambitious and motivated individual to support the continued growth in our business, through the provision of timely and accurate financial and management information in accordance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities:

1. Responsible for all aspects of accounting for the Aztec Group's assigned jurisdictions ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records.
2. Creation, analysis, and support of management information to the business within agreed timetables.
3. Responsible for the development and delivery of management and statutory financial statements within agreed timetables.
4. Develop a proactive approach to analysis of financial data going beyond timely and accurate preparation to understanding and communicating why and where action is required.
5. Assist in the management of the interim and year-end audit process.
6. Assist in the preparation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns and reconciliations.

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

1. The candidate will be expected to be a recently qualified professional with a recognised qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
2. Hands-on work experience in an accounting or related function.
3. Experience of producing thoughtful and relevant management information, acting as a commercially minded financial business partner to other business areas.
4. Advanced Excel skills essential, system experience of 3e, SAP Concur, Power BI beneficial.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients, and business contacts.
6. Ability to self-motivate and take ownership, combined with a team-work mentality vital.

You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as close working relationships between our colleagues and clients is at the heart of what we do.
