This is a fantastic opportunity to join a purpose-driven company at the forefront of Ireland's green energy transition. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations with the support of the external accountancy firm. Ideal role for a Junior Accountant looking for experience across all areas of finance in a dynamic and growing business.

Job Responsibilities:

- Processing invoices, managing supplier payments, customer billing, and reconciliations.
- Managing RCT submissions and ensuring compliance with Revenue regulations.
- Preparing and filing VAT returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Setting up contracts and managing payment structures for sub-contractors in compliance with Irish tax law.
- Supporting monthly payroll processing using payroll software
- Daily use of QuickBooks for recording transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and generating financial reports.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L reports, and cash flow statements for review by external Accountant.
- Supporting year-end audits by preparing required documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Ensuring accurate coding and posting of transactions.
- Supporting the wider team on various finance projects and administrative tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role, ideally within an SME environment.
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or Part-Qualified working through exams.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting platforms.
- Familiarity with RCT, VAT, and Irish tax legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to work independently.
- A proactive, flexible approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
