Renewable Energy Accountant

Financing opportunities are now available to join an innovative renewable energy company in Galway.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a purpose-driven business at the forefront of Ireland's green energy transition.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations with the support of an external accountancy firm. Key areas of responsibility include Financial Operations, including processing invoices, managing supplier payments, customer billing and reconciliations, as well as Tax Compliance ensuring timely submission of RCT returns and accurate VAT filings.
In this dynamic environment, you will be responsible for setting up contracts and managing payment structures for sub-contractors, supporting payroll processing using QuickBooks, and preparing monthly management accounts, P&L reports, and cash flow statements.
We are looking for a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably within an SME environment.
