Post ID: 038686 Post Summary**:-** The position of Senior Academic Developer & Strategic Initiatives Lead offers an exciting opportunity to lead transformational educational initiatives aligned to Trinitys Strategic Plan 2025-2030 , ensuring that Trinity remains at the forefront of educational excellence. Teaching and Learning Initiatives are funded by a range of key stakeholders including the National Forum for Teaching and Learning/Higher Education Authority (HEA); the National Tertiary Office; Erasmus and European Higher Education Area (EHEA) bodies. In the national context, three principal areas currently identified as strategic priorities are Digital Transformation, Education Sustainable Development (ESD), and Academic Integrity & Artificial Intelligence (AI). Several related strategic teaching and learning initiatives are currently underway at Trinity College with others in planning. The purpose of this role is to drive, lead and manage such initiatives, translating academic vision into enhancement of pedagogical practice while ensuring alignment with funder expectations and strategic objectives. Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The role is for the specific purpose of leading teaching and learning initiatives such as Education for Sustainable Development and GenAI for teaching and learning, amongst other initiatives, thereby supporting the implementation of strategic priorities and associated educational goals aligned to Trinitys Strategic Plan 2025-2030. Employment is not offered on an indefinite duration basis, as the deliverables of this role are linked to Trinitys Strategic Plan. Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-6), Salary Scale (€69,545 - €110,118 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales.
