Accounts Payable Assistant We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant. This role will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here at Sysco connecting the world through food and taking care of one another. Apply today and discover what your career could look like with Sysco Ireland. Key Accountabilities: Receive, process and seek approval of creditors invoices. Seek and process creditor credit notes. Reconcile Creditor summaries versus Creditor statements. Administration of creditor earned income claims. Processing intercompany POs Working closely with operations and merchandising teams to ensure all credits are captured and processed. File and Organise associated paperwork on a daily basis. Provide assistance with any potential audits or internal requests. Liaise with creditors as required and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner. Liaise closely with Finance as required. Requirements: The successful applicant will have 2+ years experience within a busy Accounts Assistant role, a relevant accountancy qualification would be an advantage. Proficiency with ERP software (AX experience a distinct advantage) Possess strong knowledge of excel strong relationship building skills and management skills with a high degree of responsiveness, and integrity. Strong people skills / team skills are essential for this role. Key Attributes: Team player who is driven, adaptable, dynamic, and willing to bring confidence and enthusiasm to team members. Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, competitive environment. The ability to execute is crucially important.
