EMEA Payroll Specialist (Contract)

We're looking for an experienced EMEA Payroll Specialist to join a global company at their Financial Centre of Excellence in Cork. This is a great opportunity to secure a contract role with a view to going permanent.

The Role

As the EMEA Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll for several countries across the EMEA region. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including HR and finance teams, to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time. This role requires you to partner with external providers and manage payroll data inputs, ensuring timely payment to employees.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and manage multi-country payroll for the EMEA region.

- Coordinate all incoming payroll data in conjunction with the ADP Service Model.

- Maintain accurate employee records and handle all third-party remittances.

- Manage employee records within the Time and Labor Management System for accurate payment processing.

- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (e.g., gross payroll, hours worked, tax deductions).

- Respond to and resolve all employee inquiries, providing a high level of customer service.

- Assist in year-end payroll balancing and reporting.

- Ensure internal audit requests related to payroll are met.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of practical experience in full-cycle payroll processing for a medium to large company.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS-Office, especially Excel, and SAP experience is required. ADP Streamline experience is also a significant advantage.

- Qualifications: An IPASS or Accounting Technician qualification is highly desirable.

- Core Competencies: Strong analytical skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Proven communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
