We are recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join a large, well-established organisation with operations across Ireland and the UK. This is a key leadership role where you'll oversee a busy payroll function, manage a team, and ensure payroll is delivered accurately and on time for a high-volume workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the day-to-day payroll operations, covering both weekly and monthly cycles

- Manage and develop a payroll team, ensuring training and support are in place

- Maintain compliance with Irish and UK payroll legislation

- Partner with Finance, HR, and external providers to ensure smooth payroll delivery

- Oversee payroll projects such as system upgrades, automation, and process improvements

- Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of payroll data for senior management

- Act as the main point of contact for payroll audits and compliance reviews

What We're Looking For:

- 5+ years' payroll experience, including exposure to Irish and UK payrolls

- Proven leadership skills and experience managing a payroll team

- Strong technical knowledge of payroll systems and statutory requirements

- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
