Cpl are supporting a well-established multinational organisation in North Cork to recruit a high calibre Administration Assistant to join a busy department that manages the ordering of stock into the Distribution Centre that is eventually then moved onto the stores.
If you know your way around an Excel Spreadsheet, have great communication skills and enjoy analytical/process type environments – this role could be for you
Role Details:
- Salary per annum: €43,375 with 25 days holidays and health & wellbeing package
- Location: Mitchelstown, 3 days in office and 2 days remote
- Hours: Mon-Friday 8am to 4.30pm
- Contract: 11 months initially. Contract will likely be extended until early 2026.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Ordering of specific category (in response to information from National Buying team) and liaising with suppliers
- Manage relationships with suppliers, hauliers and warehouse and resolve any issues relating to delivery etc.
- Communicate daily with stores
- Recommend volumes for new product orders, analyse how well products are performing and feedback to National Buying team
- Respond to any RFS (Removal from Sale) or EPW (Emergency Product Withdrawal) issues
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Honours/Level 8 Degree from a recognised third level organisation.
- Highly analytical and capable of managing reports/large volumes of data
- High proficiency of MS Office packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (if you have experience of Excel vlookups/pivot tables, that would be a distinct advantage)
- Professional and confident approach with an excellent work ethic.
- Ability to work under strict timelines, on your own initiative and be flexible yet accurate in your approach.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
