The Role: We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to support direct tax compliance and tax provisioning activities across a portfolio of up to 30 entities in the EMEA region. This role is suited to candidates with strong corporate tax experience in a multinational or Big 4 environment who are looking to broaden their exposure in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities: Manage quarterly and annual current and deferred tax provisions for group reporting under US GAAP and statutory tax disclosures under IFRS. Prepare and review tax workings, partnering with EMEA and Global Tax and Finance teams, and engaging with auditors and local advisors as required. Collaborate with Finance teams during the statutory accounts preparation process. Oversee external service providers supporting corporate tax and withholding tax compliance and payments across all jurisdictions. Manage the R&D tax credit process, including calculations, internal collaboration and coordination with external advisors. Ensure accurate completion of tax payment templates, journal entries and monthly account reconciliations. Work with Treasury to ensure appropriate funding and hedging for tax payments and support discussions on investment strategies. Develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisors and local tax authorities. Provide commercially focused guidance on tax matters to Legal, Finance and wider business teams. Support EMEA and Global Tax projects, including system implementations, automation initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Assist with tax planning strategies and emerging opportunities. Monitor legislative developments and ensure all impacts are assessed and addressed. Manage and support tax audits and enquiries. Prepare and deliver tax training to the business when required. Support departmental tasks including process documentation, compliance and risk tracking, supplier engagement and fee management. Carry out additional responsibilities as required. Requirements: Irish Tax Institute qualification or recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting. Minimum of 6 years corporate tax experience, ideally within a multinational environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and Power BI. ERP experience, preferably Oracle or SAP. Experience with data analytics tools or tax technology is an advantage. Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships. Experience in mentoring and managing team members. Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs. Self-motivated, results oriented and commercially aware. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Why Join Catalyx?
