The Arthur Cox Tax Group takes the lead on advisory, transactional and contentious matters or works on an integrated basis with other practice groups in the firm such as corporate, finance, capital markets, real estate and litigation.

Our clients include large multinational public companies, many of the world's leading financial institutions, government bodies and many of Ireland's leading companies.

Our Tax Group works on all of the market-leading work for the firm:

- Negotiating the largest and most complex deals with our market leading M&A/Corporate practice.
- Developing new transaction structures and approaches with our corporate, capital markets and investment funds colleagues
- Structuring real estate acquisitions and disposals with our top ranked real estate group.
- Guiding our clients through tax disputes and investigations with our unrivalled litigation practice.
- Providing stand-alone tax advice to Ireland's leading publicly traded and privately held large corporate groups on sensitive tax matters and long-term strategy.

We are exclusively focused on tax advisory, dispute and transactional work and do not focus on tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- You will assist in the development of our responses to tax policy initiatives of OECD, EU, Department of Finance and Revenue Commissioners.
- Contribute to the firm's position on technical points.
- Undertake high-level client work across corporate, M&A, securitisation, finance, real estate and disputes.
- Provision of legal and commercial expertise.
- Working as part of cross-border and interdisciplinary teams to advise on corporate activities.
- Actively engaging in thought leadership initiatives.
- Drafting legal documents clearly and concisely, creating solutions using legal knowledge and commercial judgement to advise and support all of our clients.
- Attending networking and marketing events.
- Developing strong relationships with the firm's clients, ensuring the highest quality of service and acting in a diligent, responsible and professional manner.

- Newly qualified to three years relevant post qualification experience (Legal or Accountancy (ACA / ACCA/CTA)
