Overview We are currently hiring a Contracts Administrator for a large scale Pharmaceutical Construction project in Co. Westmeath. Responsibilities Pre-Contract responsibilities would include: Preparing capital cost estimates Advising building economics Producing lifecycle cost estimates Advising tendering procedures and contract arrangements Drafting contract packages including advice on amendments to standard forms Preparing pricing documents for tender packages During the tendering phase responsibilities would include: Providing advice on tendering procedures Drafting instructions to tenderers Developing tender evaluation criteria Drafting PQQ questionnaires Handling queries during tender period Commercial evaluation of all tender submissions Negotiation with tenderers Post Contract duties would include: Valuing progress on site for interim certificates Ascertainment of amounts due to contractors for price variation Valuing proposed instructions Drafting responses to contractors' correspondence Determination of amounts of claims Expediting contractors' insurances, bonds and collateral warranties; and valuating contractors' final accounts Qualifications Bachelor or Master degree in Quantity Surveying or similar required. Extensive multi-sectoral experience Life-science, mission critical and industrial experience welcome. Ability to work on complex issues and report in a clear and concise manner Minimum of 10 years' experience carrying out pre and post contract duties Excellent organisational skills with an ability to produce accurate work to project deadlines Excellent reporting and communication skills Why PM Group?
