We are working with a global law firm to recruit an experienced lawyer to join their market-leading Competition & Regulatory team in Dublin. This role offers exposure to high-calibre, international work across the full range of competition and regulation matters.

Responsibilities

- Advising on merger control, antitrust investigations, market studies and appeals.
- Representing claimants and defendants in competition litigation.
- Providing counsel on Irish/EU regulatory issues, particularly within the telecoms, life sciences and food industries.
- Collaborating closely with global teams to deliver commercial, client-focused solutions.
- Proactively identifying business development opportunities to support the firm’s growth.

Ideal Candidate / Qualifications

- Qualified in Ireland, England & Wales or a Commonwealth jurisdiction. Competition law experience (e.g. merger control, behavioural and investigations work) gained at a leading law firm.
- Multi-jurisdictional experience of advising international clients.
- Excellent drafting skills, capable of delivering focused commercial advice.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and develop networks.
- Strong technical expertise in competition and regulatory law.
- Commercial acumen with an ability to stay updated on key legal and business trends.
- Entrepreneurial approach to business development and client engagement.
