What you will be doing We're looking for a Senior Risk Manager based out of our Dublin entity to support the ongoing development, implementation, and enhancement of Ramp Swaps (Ireland) Ltd.'s risk management framework.
This role sits within the second line of defence and reports to the Head of Risk. You'll work closely with a wide range of teams across the business, including Legal, Compliance, Operations, Product, Commercial, and Technology, helping to strengthen our risk culture and ensure best practice across the organisation.
What you will be working on Risk Management Framework
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of an enterprise-wide risk management framework that identifies, measures, manages, and monitors key risks.
Contribute to enterprise-wide risk assessments, including scenario analysis and stress testing.
Ensure processes are aligned with local regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Policy Oversight and Governance
Draft, review, and maintain risk management policies in line with regulatory standards.
Provide input into risk-related MI and reports for governance forums, including senior management and committees.
Monitoring and Reporting
Carry out periodic risk reviews and testing to ensure compliance with legislation and internal controls.
Assist with risk monitoring programmes, helping to identify and mitigate emerging risks.
Prepare clear and timely risk reports for internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure strong alignment between risk management and broader regulatory objectives.
Partner with teams across the business to promote proactive risk awareness.
Deliver training and support to colleagues on risk topics when required.
Regulatory Engagement
Support the Head of Risk in communications with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) and in preparing for regulatory reviews and audits.
What you will bring Proven experience (5-7 years) in risk management within financial services, fintech, or a regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks, including familiarity with CBI requirements.
Exposure to enterprise risk management practices, including operational, market, and liquidity risk.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
Relevant degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field (professional certifications such as PRM, FRM, or equivalent are a plus).
Enthusiasm for fintech, crypto, and innovation in financial services.
