Reed Recruitment has a vacancy for our client based in West Dublin. We are looking for a Credit Controller for a Permanent position. All details are listed below:
Duties in the role:
1. Ensuring that customer credit limits are current and up to date.
2. Pre-approving dispatch of products to customer order releases.
3. Liaising with Call Centre, contacting customers/regional managers to ensure customers clear any overdue balances.
4. Managing over 3,000 customers in VMIL with balances on their accounts.
5. Focusing on clearing old debt, maintaining communication, and dealing with queries for around 130,000 active customers, with balances ranging from below €100 to over €1,000,000.
6. Ensuring compliance with company credit policy.
7. Ongoing maintenance of customer credit limits, including obtaining credit reports, Stubbs checks, and reviewing past trading history with Texoil.
8. Processing returns, bank charges, and resolving related issues.
9. Handling new credit account and direct debit applications.
10. Uploading bank accounts daily and posting payments.
11. Receiving, processing, and posting cheques; following up on banking queries regarding payments.
12. Allocating payments against correct invoices.
13. Maintaining customer details such as sole trader or company status.
14. Performing credit checks on customers as necessary.
15. Generating domestic reports on unpaid and outstanding balances.
16. Conducting top 100 customer analysis.
17. Preparing and reconciling bad debt provision/write-off files.
