They are seeking an experienced EIA Specialist to join their dynamic team and help ensure their projects meet the highest environmental standards.

Position Summary

The EIA Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing Environmental Impact Assessments for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with national and international environmental regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct environmental impact assessments for proposed projects in accordance with local and international regulations.

- Prepare and review EIA reports, environmental management plans, and supporting documentation.

- Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely submission and approvals.

- Conduct field surveys, site visits, and data collection to support environmental studies.

- Analyze environmental data and provide recommendations to mitigate adverse impacts.

- Stay up-to-date with environmental laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and project staff.

- Represent the company during public consultations, hearings, and stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, regulations, and international standards.

- Excellent report writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

- Strong project management and organizational skills.

- Proficiency with GIS, environmental modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
